THE GREATEST ENTRY THERE EVER WAS

so this is the summer entry special, which is comprised of a review of the kona trip as well as further
proof why hilo could quite possibly be the greatest place in the u.s. or dare i say the world?

Kona Trip: along with the pictures that will follow, here is a quick rundown of the activities.

Sunday: beach run at mau mai, check-in, my marinated chicken and cheesburgers for dinner, taboo, late night swim.

Monday: omoletes for breafast, pool for oldies, hilton pool for gardetto guys, grilled hot dogs
for lunch, the movie IT in the afternoon, loco mocos for dinner, waiakea arrival,
WATERFALLS, late night pool run, jamming on the guitar, trying to stay up all night but failing miserably.

Tuesday: Hodgepodge breakfast, clean-up, pay your dues, quick run to hapuna, home, doodoo, rest.
Enjoy the pictures...

the always empty mau mai

So why is hilo the greatest place ever?  well its all subjective and what you make out of your days,
and boy have we made use of our days.

tennis almost everyday, hide and seek in the dark at the johnson residence, trying to balance on
an aerobics ball, bbq picnics at the park... the list goes on, why dont i just prove it with pictures.

bbq picnics at liliuokalani park...

game of football.

riding bike, where garrett takes the greatest picture of all time, dubbed "we cool"

the dangers of hide and seek in the dark

three chicks and a ben.. i finally went to see them play.  they are pretty good, tanyas voive is up and up with mine...

only in hilo...

we all know mark makes hilo cooler than cool

there are also capture the flag/water balloon flights at night at the park which i have yet to go to,
and we cant forget card playing.  i just learned how to play rummy and it is ALMOST as
good as hearts/trumps, maybe better than poker.  enjoy the pictures and thanks to
TESTACULAR! for half of them.

I got back a couple weeks ago from Field Training at Tyndall Air Force Base.  It was a whole lot better this time around being able to train and lead cadets.  It was a very rewarding experience having to take a bunch of unrefined individuals and turn them into quality leaders.  The flight I was assigned to started out as one of the worst in the encampment and ended up being Honor Flight, so I must have done something right.  I got hillarious stories for those interested.  Here are a couple pics...  Picture quality kinda sucks but thats due to the fact that I used a disposable camera and prolly the scanner.

Our CTA uniforms which look like bike cop outfits

Me and CTA McGregor.  Look at how good a military tuck I did...

Me at only 1 of 2 F/A22 Fighter Wings in the nation...

A picture of all the CTAs that were there.
